SABO ONIBA/LAGOS ISLAND CENTERS REPORT February-April 2025
Introduction
As we reflect on the first quarter of 2025, we thank God for His mercy and providence in our mission work. Team Lagos has been actively engaged in various programs and activities, and we are excited to share our progress withyou.
ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES IN SABO-ONIBA/LAGOS ISLAND:
Our academic programs have been thriving, with notable progress in Sabo-Oniba and Lagos Island. In Sabo-Oniba, our students have been diligently studying the books of Galatians, 2 Corinthians, and James, under the guidance of Akanimoh A, Israel Tajomavwo, and Ilori Gbenga, respectively. Meanwhile, in Lagos Island, our students have been engaged in courses such as World Religion, Personal Evangelism 2, and The Pentateuch, led by Femi Adewuyi, Tim Iwe Luka, and Augustine Ani.
Church Visits and Local Mission Work
Our students and staff have been actively involved in assisting small congregations in our area with teaching and evangelism. Paul Benjamin and I visited the Etegbin congregation on different Sundays in March, while I also worshiped with the Amigbo congregation in Imo state, where I spoke on the topic "Which Congregation Do You Want to Be?" presenting five congregations from the early church. Additionally, our students participated in campaigns at Ikeja church and Lagos Island. Musa Garuba who is a military officer and a medical hand, was involved in treating prospects during the medical outreach in Lagos Island. Kumayon Kumasi and I took a Sunday to train the Ogba church in the discipleship principles.

Bear Valley Extension Schools in Nigeria:

We attended the South West Lectures in Ibadan, the 2025 Lectureship in Ukpagada, and celebrated matriculations and graduations in Afikpo, Enugu, and Warri. These visits have been instrumental in establishing new study centers and welcoming them into the Bear Valley family.
Appreciation/Conclusion
We express our heartfelt gratitude to God for the progress we have made. We also appreciate the support and prayers of Stoney Point Church of Christ and the authorities of Bear Valley Institute. We look forward to continuedcollaboration and growth in our mission work. As we move forward, we are excited about the opportunities and challenges ahead. We pray that God will continue to guide and empower us as we serve in His kingdom.
Thank you for your ongoing support and prayers.
