Making an impact in Peru

Dear brothers,

Please receive our cordial greetings, we hope in the Lord that you are all in good health, both physically and spiritually, and that your respective ministries are being for the honor and glory of God.

We are happy every time we read some of the reports they share with us on extension updates. We hope that to some extent these lines instill some encouragement in your hearts.

Since my last report in November, we have concluded two courses (Leadership and Church History), two very exciting and enriching courses for our students, the courses were taught by Brother Abraham Alata and by myself (Juan Abanto). We have had 13 students between the two classes; Of course some of them are taking the classes as free students (5).

As a sequel to my leadership class, I received an invitation from the Church of Christ in America (where the in-person classes are taught) to give a leadership workshop to the members of the church, which I gladly accepted. We have had some assignments and I consider that they have been very useful for all of them, of course, the real challenge for them is in using what we have shared in their respective areas of work.

At the beginning of January we started two new courses (Wisdom Books 1 – Job with Brother Andres Nuñez) and the Life of Christ 3 with Abraham Alata. They are currently in the middle of the course, due to some activities in the congregation where we work we have had to teach night classes on some occasions to make up hours since Saturdays have been used for these local activities. The students have been and agree to these arrangements and continue with their classes.

At the end of the month we will have a new workshop at the Church of Christ in Villa Alejandro. This workshop will focus on the study, organization and presentation of sermons. The teachers of the institute have been invited to share this with the brothers there. We are also preparing for our annual intercongregational conference scheduled for March 29-30. The conferences will be presented by the institute's professors and one of our graduated preachers (Alejandro Berrío).

A fraternal hug to all, thank you for the time you take to read these notes and for all the spiritual and physical support you send us.
